Chalet Tinzenhorn is a one of a kind traditional Walser chalet in the idilic village of Davos Wiesen in the heart of Graubünden, Switzerland.
Weisen stands at an altitude of 1453m & has the unique advantage of it's proximity to 2 world class ski resorts. To the northeast Davos is a 15min drive and to the northwest Lenzerheide/Arosa is a 20min drive. Standing in Parc Ela, Switzerland's largest regional nature park, it is surrounding by beautiful trials, history, nature & the people that make this place an unique microcosm of the world.

The chalet stands proudly on a high vantage point on the furthest edge of the village. From the balcony you can survey the idyllic village and marvel at uninterrupted views of the Albula Alps with the distinct Tinzenhorn peak, known as the Matterhorn of Graubunden, dominating the ever changing skyline. Ernst Kirchner, one of the greatest Expressionist painters, loved this mountain so much he spend many hours sketching & studying it, eventually compelling him to create a masterpiece which he called "Zugenschlucht bei Monstein".
